Liverpool continues to value Curtis Jones at 40 million euros, a figure that currently makes the deal impossible for Inter. The Nerazzurri have chosen to focus their available resources on the defense and the right flank, but according to Tuttosport, the interest in the English midfielder, under contract until 2027, has not faded.

The management is counting on raising the necessary funds from departures in midfield, where Frattesi, Asllani, Akinsanmiro, and Massolin are considered surplus. The issue, however, remains the lack of concrete offers: for Frattesi, who could be sold for 25 million, Juventus, Napoli, and Roma have pulled out in recent weeks, while Nottingham Forest, after inquiries in January and June, has not come forward again.

As for Asllani, valued at around 12 million, Sassuolo has shown interest, but attention should also be paid to Besiktas, which did not exercise the purchase option at the end of June. For the two young players who have returned to the club, a loan deal is likely: Akinsanmiro could move to Monza on a temporary basis with an option to buy and a buy-back clause in favor of Inter, while for Massolin the matter is postponed until mid-August.

Without income from sales, the Jones deal remains a difficult target to achieve at the moment.
