This week could prove to be decisive for Curtis Jones. The English midfielder has been a concrete target for the Nerazzurri since last February, and now a development in the negotiations is expected after the resolution of the Frattesi issue.
Alfredo Pedullà, speaking on his YouTube channel, commented on the situation as follows: “This week is important for Inter: Jones is an increasingly concrete target, he has been the target since last February and the Nerazzurri want to pursue him after resolving the Frattesi matter, trying to find a solution that convinces everyone.”
The journalist then spoke about a possible acceleration of the negotiations: “I expect things to speed up, I expect Inter to act like Inter, because Liverpool will act like Liverpool.” Pedullà then referred to another name linked to the Nerazzurri in recent weeks: “I would have also taken Romero, with a sale, thus building probably the strongest defense in Europe.”
The Milanese club is working to find an agreement that satisfies all parties involved. Liverpool is maintaining its position, while the Nerazzurri’s goal remains to complete the deal under the conditions they consider right.
