Inter is working on several fronts to strengthen Cristian Chivu‘s squad. The priority remains the arrival of a right winger, but the transfer strategies of the Nerazzurri directors depend closely on departures.
According to Luca Marchetti, the club is certain to sign a player for the right flank, probably with different characteristics compared to Dumfries and Palestra. Among the profiles being considered are Moussa Diaby and Nico Gonzalez, although with the latter there have been no direct contacts with Juventus. These are players more oriented towards attack than midfield, useful for breaking down closed defenses in tight matches.
As for Curtis Jones, his arrival is linked to the departures of Asllani and Frattesi. Only in that case will Inter make a move for the midfielder. A similar situation applies to Cuti Romero: the Argentine would only become a concrete target if Benjamin Pavard were to leave Milan.
However, there do not seem to be any particular problems regarding the Frenchman. Pavard is having a good pre-season and, contrary to previous rumors, there are no tensions with the dressing room. At the moment, therefore, there is no urgency on this front.
