Jones can become the summer hit for Inter

The Nerazzurri management continues to move on several transfer market fronts, with priorities and timing changing according to the evolution of negotiations. Some targets today seem more distant, but could quickly climb the list of priorities for Ausilio.

The Khalaili situation appears to be defined: Inter has reached an agreement with the player for a five-year contract worth 1.8 million per season. This agreement has made it possible to fend off attempts by other clubs, including Como, without particular concerns on Viale della Liberazione.

The sticking point of the negotiation, however, concerns Saint-Gilloise, which has decided to maximize revenue from the sale of a player who became a market focus after Palestra‘s refusal. The Belgian club is asking for 30 million for the transfer, a significant sum that is prolonging the timing of an operation that nevertheless seems destined to be completed.

Once the Khalaili issue is settled, the Nerazzurri club will focus on the central defender. Chalobah remains at the top of the list, but the Davinson Sánchez option is also being considered. Stones has offered himself, but the costs are prohibitive.

According to TuttoSport, Curtis Jones has all the credentials to become the hottest name of August. The Englishman is a favorite of Chivu and the management will do everything to satisfy him.
