Inter transfer market, one spot left on the list: the options on the table

The transfer market for Inter could close without further moves, but there is still room for a last-minute deal. With the loan departures of Massolin and Asllani, the squad would drop to 24 players, leaving space for another addition.

Chivu had requested a versatile attacking reinforcement since last summer. However, with seven midfielders and four forwards already available, adding a fifth player to the attacking department could reduce playing time for someone and create tensions in group management.

According to Tuttosport, if a last-minute signing were to materialize, there are two alternatives. The first involves a low-cost deal or a loan of a player on the fringes of his club. In this scenario, the names circulating are Chiesa from Liverpool, although the Italian would like to stay, and Perisic, who is leaving PSV. Ausilio, however, ruled out the Croatian’s return a few weeks ago.

The second option involves a more significant investment, dependent on the sale of Luis Henrique or Bonny. Rumors continue to circulate about the Ivorian, but an offer between 35 and 40 million euros would be needed. The name of Martinelli from Arsenal is still in play, with Inzaghi‘s Al-Hilal pushing hard for him. It is not ruled out that Marotta, Ausilio, and Baccin have a profile in hand that has never emerged publicly.
