Inter, surprise rumor: “Vicario is the alternative, but the target is Alisson”

Inter is looking to the future of its goalkeeping position and is considering several profiles to replace Yann Sommer, whose contract is expiring. According to Repubblica, the Nerazzurri have been closely following Guglielmo Vicario, the Tottenham goalkeeper who has been a favorite of Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio for several years. The 1996-born player could leave the Spurs for a fee below 30 million euros.

However, there is also interest in the player from Juventus, who are looking for a goalkeeper to replace Di Gregorio, who continues to be unconvincing. The Bianconeri also greatly appreciate Carnesecchi, but prying him away from Atalanta looks complicated given his valuation of around 45 million euros. For this reason, attention is shifting to Vicario, with the risk of a transfer market battle between the two clubs.

There is, however, another name that links Inter and Juventus: Alisson Becker. The Brazilian goalkeeper from Liverpool, formerly of Roma, will see his contract expire in 2027 and will turn 34 in October. The Reds have already signed his successor, the Georgian Giorgi Mamardashvili, so negotiations for the sale of the South American goalkeeper would be facilitated.
