Tottenham and Inter are working to reach an agreement on Djed Spence. After the failure of the Palestra and Khalaili options, the winger has become the main target for the Nerazzurri’s right flank, left uncovered by the departure of Denzel Dumfries.

The player’s versatility is a decisive advantage: he is able to play equally well on the right and left flanks, a characteristic that makes him particularly interesting for Chivu‘s 3-5-2 formation. His age, 25, also fits within the market parameters set by Oaktree since the arrival of the American ownership, with the exception of Akanji last year when only Under 24 profiles were signed.

Talks between the clubs are ongoing and are expected to intensify in the coming days. The financial gap remains the main issue: Inter aims to close the deal between 30 and 35 million euros, while the English are asking for around 40, also driven by the exposure of the World Cup, where Spence was a protagonist.

The current gap is significant, but the Nerazzurri management is counting on time to reduce it and reach a solution that will allow the coach to complete the squad.
