The Nerazzurri transfer market has entered the decision-making phase. According to Corriere dello Sport, the management still needs to fill at least four positions and, above all, decide how to allocate the available resources between the right flank, defense, and midfield. The initial budget was around 50 million euros, to which the proceeds from sales should be added.

So far, Aleksandar Stankovic, Ivan Provedel, and Yanis Massolin have arrived, while the most significant departure was Denzel Dumfries, who moved to Real Madrid through the payment of his release clause. Now the problem is clear: it will not be possible to invest large sums in every department. Therefore, it will be necessary to choose where to focus the financial effort and where to look for more sustainable solutions.

To replace Dumfries, the main names are Djed Spence and Givairo Read. Both would require a significant investment, with a valuation starting at around 30 million and going up to 40 for the Englishman. The club must decide whether it is worth focusing a substantial part of the budget on the flank. Alternatively, the idea of Ivan Perisic remains alive, an experienced and decidedly more economical solution.

If the club saves on the winger, it could allocate more resources to the central defender. The most ambitious name is Cristian Romero, valued by Tottenham between 45 and 50 million euros. The Argentine would be willing to return to Italy, but the deal requires a major effort. The low-cost alternative is John Stones, a free agent from Manchester City who has already been offered to the Nerazzurri.

Much will also depend on the future of Pavard: if the Frenchman stays, only one new addition may be needed. In midfield, however, the first name remains Curtis Jones. First, though, the team must necessarily trim the squad. Liverpool continues to ask for around 40 million, and any move will depend on how much is spent elsewhere. The Nerazzurri transfer market thus comes down to a delicate balance: Spence, Read, Romero, and Jones represent the most expensive options, while Perisic and Stones can free up resources to make a strong push elsewhere.
