Inter has moved on Anan Khalaili as a potential target for the right wing and further confirmation comes directly from Belgium. Journalist Geert Lambaerts, speaking on Radio Napoli Centrale, says: “From the Union club, we learned today and yesterday that Inter has made contact. So it is certain that Inter is involved, but Napoli has also made contact a few weeks ago, maybe a month, let’s say. But the thing is clear: Inter could be a rival for Napoli in the market for Khalaili”.
The journalist then adds: “We have confirmation that Inter has made itself known to the Union club. Now the situation remains the same, at least 25 million are needed, and for Union it is a good thing that Tottenham is still in the mix, and in England there is also talk of Newcastle, but we do not have confirmation on that. So, it could become, let’s say, a great race between some big clubs. And we do not know if Khalaili has a preference between Napoli or Inter. I think for him it is more or less the same, in both he can play in the Champions League and in the best teams of Serie A. But we think it will not drag on too long because Union has already worked a bit on the market, they have already signed four or five new players, so they are ready to sell. But now there is, let’s say, this rivalry between two big Italian clubs and there is also Inter, in our opinion, the interest from Italy is the most concrete compared to the Premier League”.
