Inter seems finally to have identified their preferred attacking target for next summer. The striker, who is already nicknamed Lautarito in Argentina, is seen as the natural heir to Inter’s current captain, both thanks to their similar technical characteristics and their hunger for goals and success.
As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, convincing Bologna to part with the 2004-born center forward will take an offer not lower than 40 million euros. However, Inter has an ace up its sleeve to persuade Bologna to lower their economic demands—namely Giovanni Fabbian.
The Nerazzurri hold a buy-back option of 12 million euros for Fabbian, which must be exercised this summer. According to the newspaper, Renegotiating this option within a more complex deal would not be off-limits.
