Over the past few weeks, since the second half of August, rumors have continued to circulate regarding the future of an Inter member. Despite some denials that have appeared in the media recently, now the definitive and official denial has come from the person directly involved.

It is Piero Ausilio who, interviewed by the Corriere dello Sport, has officially denied leaving Inter despite the lucrative offers he received from Al-Hilal. The wealthy club from Arabia already signed Simone Inzaghi last June and has now tried again with the Nerazzurri Sporting Director as well as Dario Baccin.

Ausilio, however, has firmly denied any possible reconsideration in case of a higher offer: “There’s not much to say. I’m happy where I am, I have a contract until 2027. In the past, I also received even more attractive offers financially. But I never left here. If Inzaghi insisted and the Saudis made an irresistible offer? Everything is resistible.”
