Gym-Inter-Atalanta, turning point by Inter management: today's update

The negotiation for Marco Palestra has become complicated in recent weeks. Atalanta seems to have raised its financial demands, with a valuation that currently hovers around 50 million euros, perhaps even a bit more. The hope for the Bergamo club is that a bidding war will break out, maybe with Manchester City ready to put a lot of money on the table, taking advantage of their financial firepower.

On the other hand, Inter is waiting patiently for now. Marotta and Ausilio know they have the player’s approval, as he sees the Nerazzurri project as the ideal one to join at this stage of his career. The Inter offer currently goes up to 45 million euros including bonuses. At Viale della Liberazione, they have decided to wait without increasing the offer, in order to see if Atalanta‘s position might soften, perhaps taking advantage of the possible withdrawal of the Citizens, who are also working at home on Malo Gusto.

It cannot be ruled out, in any case, that in the coming weeks they may decide to raise their offer to get closer to the Bergamo club’s request. Inter continues to consider Palestra the ideal signing to replace Dumfries in the right wing-back position and at the moment does not seem to be considering any concrete alternatives.
