For Inter, this summer’s primary transfer market goal will be finding young and talented reinforcements. The aim is to keep the team competitive at the highest levels, while slightly lowering the squad’s average age, in line with Oaktree‘s wishes. However, according to the latest market reports, Tottenham could disrupt Inter’s plans.
The English club is said to be strongly interested in bringing a player to the Premier League who has performed very well in Serie A during recent years: Samuele Ricci. The midfielder recently named captain from Torino and part of the Italian national team is highly appreciated by Inter and other top clubs such as Milan and Napoli.
Nonetheless, according to the British media outlet TeamTalk, Tottenham aims to bring Ricci to London as part of a new approach focused on promising young talents to recover from an extremely difficult season. Torino is asking for around 40 million euros, an amount the English club would be more likely to meet compared to Inter and other Serie A sides.
