A significant financial detail emerges regarding the deal that brought Davide Frattesi to Lazio. According to Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri will not receive 50% of the total amount from a possible future sale of the midfielder, but rather 50% of the capital gain.
The difference is substantial: Inter will be entitled to half of the profit margin that Lazio will obtain by reselling the player, not half of the entire proceeds. This is a mechanism that limits the financial benefits for the Milanese club in the event of a resale of the player by the capital club.
The agreement between the two clubs provides for a paid loan of 1 million euros plus a buyout option set at 14 million. The option would become an obligation upon the occurrence of one of two conditions: finishing at least tenth in the league or at least 22 appearances in Serie A by Frattesi.
The formula devised by the two clubs allows Lazio to acquire the midfielder with a staggered investment, while Inter maintains a financial interest linked to the player’s future performances.
