Yes to the redemption of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and Sebastiano Esposito. The first will continue his experience at Pisa, the second will become a permanent player for Cagliari, guaranteeing Inter an immediate income.
Pisa will exercise the €6 million buyout clause agreed with Inter for the Nigerian midfielder, who will sign a 3-year contract. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter could exercise the counter-buyout for €7.5 million: “The Tuscans have confirmed to Inter their intention to keep the 2004-born midfielder, so now it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will decide to exercise the counter-buyout“.
On the Esposito front, Cagliari’s survival has in fact triggered the player’s mandatory buyout. Inter will receive €4 million, plus 40% of any future resale of the player.
