Inter could still spring some surprises at the end of the transfer window. Despite the attacking lineup already counting four players, the Nerazzurri management continues to monitor profiles different from those currently available to Cristian Chivu.
This was revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio, who, during the podcast ‘Caffè Di Marzio’, took stock of the situation: “Many clubs are looking for an attacking player, paradoxically even Inter, who already have four but are searching for a player with different characteristics compared to those available to Cristian Chivu. It’s not easy to find one in 8 days or without making who knows what kind of moves. But that’s the beauty of the transfer market.”
The Nerazzurri transfer campaign could therefore end with some departures and no new arrivals, but the club is keeping the door open to possible opportunities. Time is running out and identifying the right profile in so few days remains a complex operation, especially without significant investments.
