La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms the meeting that took place at headquarters with the presence of Cristian Chivu, summoned by the Oaktree executives. The summit was also attended by Katherine Ralph, the fund’s reference manager for the club’s daily matters, and president Giuseppe Marotta, who expressed great appreciation for the impact of the Romanian coach on the team.
According to reports, the summit did not concern transfer market operations. Instead, the focus of the discussion was on financial strategies, a topic on which Chivu showed interest in order to better understand the future possibilities for strengthening the squad. This did not prevent an update on ongoing negotiations, which was addressed in talks with Marotta and Piero Ausilio.
