Crescenzo Cecere, agent of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and key intermediary for the French market in Italy, appeared in the Sky Sport studios to analyze various transfer market issues. The operator followed the contacts in January for Moussa Diaby, a winger currently under contract in Saudi Arabia.

Asked about possible updates regarding the Frenchman, Cecere replied without leaving room for optimism: “It’s very complicated, very difficult. Obviously, we’re talking about salaries, and he has a very significant one in Saudi Arabia, so I see it as very complicated, very difficult.”

The agent also focused on the transfer of Akinsanmiro to Monza for 7.5 million euros. “The negotiation started a long time ago, because as early as February-March I met with Monza’s directors, who had asked me about Akinsanmiro, but at that time he was with the national team, at the Africa Cup of Nations. We had many teams, many requests from abroad, so I saw it as a bit impossible.”

“In the last month, however, the pressure from the directors… and then, the call from Juric to the player was decisive. I’m happy because he stayed in Italy. He’s a strong player, who still needs to work and grow, but who will become a great player. We made an excellent choice, I’m happy for the boy and for Monza, who made an excellent investment.”
