Fenerbahçe continues to closely follow Hakan Çalhanoğlu, the Inter midfielder under contract until 2027. According to Turkish sources, including FotoMac, the sporting director of the Istanbul club, Cihan Kamer, recently traveled to the Lombard capital to meet with the Nerazzurri management and discuss the possibility of bringing the Turkish playmaker back home.

On the same occasion, Kamer is said to have spoken with Rafael Leao regarding his willingness to move to Istanbul, but the main focus would be on the former Rossonero. The yellow-blue club would like to bring number 20 to Turkey, after years of rumors linking him to a return home without the deal ever materializing.

From the management on Viale Liberazione, there appears to be an opening: if Fenerbahçe were to propose a figure around 20 million euros, the deal could be considered. However, the Turks would be willing to go up to 15 million, also relying on an alleged confession from the player himself to president Yıldırım, who claims that the 1994-born player would like to play for them.

Despite recurring transfer rumors, the 1994-born player remains a central figure in coach Chivu‘s technical project, with whom he played a decisive role in winning the recent Double. The final offer from Fenerbahçe is expected to arrive within the next seven days.
