According to Sport Mediaset, the future of Hakan Çalhanoğlu represents one of the most delicate issues at Inter. The Turkish midfielder’s contract expires in 2027 and, at the moment, the matter of an extension remains open, with no talks having been initiated between the parties.

In the studio, Orazio Accomando analyzed the situation of the Nerazzurri, focusing on the two players whose contracts are closest to their natural expiration. In addition to Çalhanoğlu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan also has an agreement until 2027, but for the Armenian, retirement is expected at the end of the current season.

For Inter’s number twenty-two, however, the scenario is different. At the moment, the distance regarding an agreement prevails: there are no ongoing negotiations and the tendency seems to be leaning more towards no than yes regarding the renewal. The matter remains one of the most uncertain in the entire Serie A.
