The Nerazzurri market remains open to the possibility of bringing in a fifth striker with different characteristics from those already in the squad. The goal would be to bring in a player capable of beating his man, a profile different from those already present, therefore not an alter ego of ThuLa nor of Pio or Bonny. However, the operation depends on departures, and the name set to leave may not be that of Luis Henrique.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian has received a clear message from the club: it would be preferable for everyone to find a new destination. Roma had shown interest, but the negotiations are now on standby. In the absence of offers from abroad, Inter could consider another solution to make room for the new signing.
The name circulating is that of Bonny, who arrived last year from Parma. The Franco-Ivorian has not disappointed when called upon and has often proved decisive, but he is not on the list of untouchables. An offer of around 30-35 million euros would be taken seriously by the management, guaranteeing a capital gain of about 10 million compared to last summer’s investment.
At the moment there are no concrete moves, but the last four days of the transfer window could hold surprises. The newspaper recalls that on September 1st last year, in the final hours, the club completed the arrival of Akanji and the departure of Pavard. A similar turnaround could happen in attack. If not, the Nerazzurri would still be satisfied to keep Bonny.
