In recent weeks, after a start to the season in which his playing time had been limited, transfer rumors emerged from Germany regarding a possible departure from Inter for Yann Aurel Bisseck. The German defender seemed willing to leave in January in order to play regularly this season, which leads up to the World Cup.
However, as revealed by Fabrizio Biasin on Cronache di Spogliatoio, there have been no transfer requests from Bisseck to the Nerazzurri club. Now, the 2000-born player is working with Chivu and his staff to find the right moves to become important even as a central defender. These are the revelations of the journalist and Inter expert:
“From what I’m told, Bisseck has never asked to leave. He knows that at the moment he doesn’t have someone inconsistent like last year’s Pavard ahead of him, who would play one match and then miss two. Now he has Akanji ahead of him, who is a reliable presence for Inter, and so his opportunities are limited. The idea is that he could find space in the center of defense, maybe even this season, but even more so in the future. At least one of the two experienced players in the middle (Acerbi and De Vrij, ed.) will leave, and that could be a great opportunity for him.”
