The Inter transfer market is going through a transitional phase under the management of Oaktree. Fabrizio Biasin captured the current moment, speaking live on Cronache di Spogliatoio to comment on the dynamics that have characterized the Nerazzurri’s last few weeks.
According to the journalist, the Nerazzurri’s strength in recent years has been their ability to build a competitive squad through a dual strategy: on one hand, signing young and promising players, and on the other, acquiring players on free transfers. This formula has made it possible to maintain a balance between sporting ambition and economic sustainability.
The current situation, however, seems to have changed. “The feeling is that there is no longer all this freedom of action,” Biasin stated. A phrase that sums up the new course imposed by the American ownership, with stricter economic and financial constraints influencing the management’s decisions.
The Nerazzurri executives therefore find themselves operating within very specific boundaries set by Oaktree. A paradigm shift that could alter the balance in upcoming transfer windows and will require further creativity in negotiations.
