Last night marked the end of the first act in the two-legged clash between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in the Champions League. However, the two clubs are also competing off the pitch, particularly regarding a battle in the transfer market. In fact, Bayern are reportedly seriously interested in Luis Henrique from Olympique Marseille.
The Brazilian forward is a transfer target for the Nerazzurri, as confirmed yesterday by Beppe Marotta ahead of the match. According to Tuttosport, however, Bayern Munich have already initiated talks with Marseille’s management to try to beat Inter to the player. Both clubs would like to secure him ahead of the upcoming Club World Cup.
For their part, the Nerazzurri are counting on two factors: the first is having already started negotiations early enough to avoid losing out to Bayern Munich; the second is the player’s preference, since he has reportedly already expressed an openness towards the move.
