Inter could lose one of its key men at the management and transfer market structure level. This concerns Piero Ausilio, the Nerazzurri sporting director who, as has been known for some time, has ended up in the sights of an Arab club. The club in question is precisely Al-Hilal, which last June already snatched Simone Inzaghi from the Nerazzurri.
For weeks, rumors have emerged of a possible move by Piero Ausilio to the Saudi Pro League, and now it seems there is even a possible date when these contacts could become reality. As Fabrizio Romano points out, once the Italian transfer window closes, the Arab club will make a proposal to the Inter sporting director, who at that point will be able to make his evaluations. These are the words of the journalist:
“The interest from Al-Hilal is there. Contacts are ongoing and they want to reform the working group between Ausilio and Inzaghi, which over the years at Inter has brought excellent results with a very strong relationship. The idea from Al-Hilal is to get into the heart of the negotiation and try to close after the end of the Italian transfer window. Ausilio will therefore be able to conclude the transfer session at Inter.”
