Among the maneuvers carried out in the last few days of the market in Italy by super agent Jorge Mendes, including the deal that brought Joao Felix to Milan on a costly loan from Chelsea, Inter could have also benefited from a sensational operation for the black and blue attack.
According to the backstory reported by Sportmediaset, in fact, the famous Portuguese agent had proposed to the Inter club the idea of bringing Marco Asensio to Milan on loan. A profile that was actually considered by Marotta and Ausilio, who, however, were subsequently forced to abandon the track due to the impossibility of selling either Correa and Arnautovic in this market.
The Spanish forward former Real Madrid was nonetheless discarded by Paris Saint Germain, who yesterday finalized his loan to Aston Villa.
