As has been known for some time, in 2026 one of Inter‘s objectives will be to rejuvenate its squad as Oaktree desires, starting with the goalkeeping department (they are looking for a replacement for Sommer from this list) and especially the defense. There are some new developments on the market and a very specific list of targets.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport actually provides an update on the defensive department of the future for Inter and lists 5 names that are currently on the transfer list of president Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio. This list for the defense is being considered as a possible alternative to the rumored departure of Bisseck.
These are the names reported by the newspaper as alternatives also to the 3 defenders whose contracts are expiring: “Moreover, Marotta, Ausilio and Baccin are already evaluating several defender profiles – Ordonez, Solet, Koulierakis, Gila and Muharemovic – considering that at the end of the season the contracts of Acerbi, De Vrij and Darmian will expire.”
