As with every Wednesday, this morning the Italian Referees Association AIA announced the official referee assignments for the 29th round of Serie A. Davide Massa will oversee Atalanta vs Inter, scheduled for Sunday, 16 March, at 20:45 CET. The official from the Imperia section will be assisted by Carbone and Meli, while Sozza will be assigned as the fourth official. The VAR duties will be entrusted to Di Bello, assisted by Marini as AVAR.
Regarding previous encounters officiated by Massa involving Inter, he has refereed a total of 28 matches, with the Nerazzurri registering 18 victories, 5 draws, and 5 defeats. The only prior Atalanta vs Inter match officiated by the Imperia referee ended in a 0-0 draw on 16 January 2022.
