The hour of truth is about to strike for Inter of Cristian Chivu, engaged in the first big match of the second half of the season against Napoli on Sunday evening. Direct clashes have been a real taboo for the Nerazzurri in the league so far and at Appiano Gentile they know very well that these very evenings could steer the title race in one direction or another.

As announced this morning by the Aia, the rumors of the last few hours have been confirmed. For Inter-Napoli, in fact, an experienced referee like Daniele Doveri has been appointed. The referee from the Rome section will be assisted by Alassio and Colarossi and by Colombo as the fourth official. VAR entrusted to Di Bello and Di Paolo as assistant.

Doveri has already refereed Inter on two occasions this season, in the two victories obtained against Verona and Genoa. Overall, there are 38 previous matches in all competitions in which the Nerazzurri have achieved 16 wins, 12 draws, and 10 defeats.
