Serie A resumes for Inter on Sunday afternoon at 18:00, following the international break. The Nerazzurri will welcome Udinese to San Siro in a match valid for the 30th round of Serie A, aiming to end March strongly, especially after their impressive victory against Atalanta.
Today, the Italian Referees’ Association AIA announced referee assignments for the upcoming league matchday. Daniele Chiffi has been appointed to officiate Inter–Udinese. The Padua-based referee will be assisted by Rossi and Fontemurato, with Bonacina serving as fourth official. Paterna will be on VAR duty, assisted by Pezzuto.
The last time Chiffi refereed an Inter game was in the early February derby against Milan, which ended up in a 1-1 draw thanks to a last-second equalizer. During that game, there were numerous controversies among Nerazzurri supporters concerning a penalty not awarded for Pavlovic’s foul on Thuram. Overall, with Chiffi refereeing, Inter has secured 9 wins, 5 draws, and 2 losses in the referee’s 16 previous matches.
