One and a half years since the Istanbul final, Francesco Acerbi was once again tasked with marking Erling Haaland in the Champions League. The defender for Inter delivered another great performance against the Manchester City striker.

For the second time, Acerbi managed to contain Haaland, as the two seemed to remember each other in a friendly exchange at the end of the game at the Etihad Stadium, which ended 0-0.
