Chaka Traoré, former youth player of Milan, spoke out to express his point of view on the comparison between Francesco Camarda and Francesco Pio Esposito.
The striker preferred not to get into direct comparisons, while still acknowledging the qualities of both players. “I don’t like making comparisons. But Francesco knows how to play, he’s technical and has many skills. Pio is a great striker and he’s proving it even with the national team,” he said.
According to Traoré, at the moment Esposito appears more mature and ready for the next step. “Maybe today he is more ready than Francesco, but I believe that, in the long run, Francesco will become the starter for the National Team,” he concluded, suggesting that Camarda could establish himself in the long term as a reference point for Italy.
