Marcus Thuram, forced to be substituted last September 30th in the Champions League match against Slavia Prague, has not yet recovered from the strain to the femoral biceps of his left thigh that he suffered.

Now, due to a slower than expected recovery, his return to the field has been further delayed. In recent days, the Frenchman has started working on the pitch again, waiting to get the final green light from the doctors to rejoin the group.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in addition to definitely missing tomorrow evening’s match against Fiorentina, Thuram is also at risk for Sunday’s game against Verona. It is therefore likely that the Frenchman will only be called up again by Cristian Chivu for the fourth round of the Champions League scheduled for November 5th at San Siro against Kairat.
