With the victory achieved yesterday evening in full recovery, Inter has gained three very important points in the standings. In fact, Simone Inzaghi‘s team is currently in the top eight spots that are valid for direct access to the Champions League round of 16.
If the black and blues have performed more than well in the first three rounds, even the Inter U19 team in the Youth League is not joking. Andrea Zanchetta‘s team, in fact, finds itself at the top of the table with full points alongside Atalanta and Salzburg.
After the successes against Manchester City and Red Star, yesterday afternoon also saw victory on the tough field of Young Boys. The Nerrazzuri triumphed 2-3 with a goal in the final minutes by Alexiou, despite being numerically inferior due to the expulsion of Quieto. A blistering start for the Inter U19 team, confirming its status as one of the most interesting young teams in Europe.
