Moment of high tension on the bench during Atalanta–Inter revealed by Bordo CAM on DAZN. The protagonist was the Nerazzurri coach Chivu, who protested animatedly with the fourth official Rapuano over some refereeing decisions during the match.
It all started after a challenge on Thuram, whistled by the referee with a slight delay. Rapuano tried to justify the decision: “Coach, the last one is a foul.” The coach’s response was immediate: “But it was already a foul before.” However, the Inter coach did not seem convinced by the explanation he received.
The situation then heated up a few seconds later. A foul by Calhanoglu was signaled, again with a delay, by Rapuano himself. Chivu‘s reaction was immediate and vehement: “He saw it! But he said no, he said no!”
At that point, Palladino, Atalanta’s coach, intervened and tried to calm things down. “I swear it was a foul, I saw it. We’ll watch it later,” were the words he used to reassure his Nerazzurri colleague and restore calm on the bench.
