Inter is preparing to welcome Djed Spence back to the group. As highlighted by Sky, this week the English winger will finally complete the reconditioning process that has kept him sidelined until now. Starting Monday, he will begin training with the teammates who remained at Appiano Gentile during the break, after a week of rest.
The former Tottenham player, who arrived in the summer after a high-level World Cup, had to wait longer than expected before making himself available to Cristian Chivu, who until now has been without the designated heir to Denzel Dumfries on the right flank.
The date circled in red for his official debut in an Inter shirt is October 10 at 6 p.m., when the Nerazzurri will host Parma at San Siro. On that occasion, Spence is expected to be included in the squad list and could have the opportunity to make his debut on the Milan pitch.
Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu and John Stones continue their recovery from their respective muscle problems, with the Turkish midfielder further along in the process than the English defender.
