Just a few minutes from the start whistle of Sparta Prague-Inter, Simone Inzaghi commented on the Champions League commitment of the black and blues to Sky Sport microphones. Here are his words:
APPROACH – “The approach is always fundamental, even more so tonight, in a Champions League match, on a not-so-simple field. We know the importance of this match for us”.
SPARTA PRAGA – “They are a physical team, accustomed to playing these matches. They started well, then they had defeats against significant teams. They have been motionless since December 15 and we will try to also put pressure on the rhythm”.
ASLLANI – “Asllani is showing great character. Replacing Calhanoglu is not easy, he is providing performance continuity, but I had no doubts. He knows he has everyone’s trust and we are glad to have him”.
THU-LA – “Can they make the difference? We hope so. They alternated in the last few matches, today they start from the 1st minute and we also have Taremi and Arnautovic who could assist us”.
