Despite the balance on the field during the ninety minutes, in the end it was Liverpool who prevailed over Inter thanks to the late goal from the penalty spot. In the 39th minute, Thuram’s shot is intercepted by Van Dijk’s arm, which is consistent with the play. In the 38th minute, the penalty: Bastoni holds Wirtz’s shirt, but the gesture is not repeated and not overwhelming. The call and the penalty awarded are both excessive.”
