Serie A Women, debut against Fiorentina for the Nerazzurre

The calendar for the Serie A Women Athora for the 2026-2027 season has been announced. The championship will kick off on the weekend of September 26 and 27, one week after the conclusion of the Serie A Women’s Cup, which will start the season between August 22 and 23.

Inter Women coached by Sassarini will debut at home at the Arena Civica against Fiorentina. The derby with Milan is scheduled for the sixth matchday, while on the ninth the Nerazzurre will face Roma, the Italian champions led by former Nerazzurri coach Gianpiero Piovani. On the fourth matchday, the Inter coach will face his past with Napoli.

Among other important fixtures, the seventh matchday will feature a big home match against Juventus, while the eleventh will see an away game against Sassuolo. The return match with Roma will close the calendar on the twentieth matchday, again at home. At the end of the season, the top three teams will qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2027/28.
