The Regional Administrative Court has rejected or declared inadmissible all appeals filed between 2022 and 2025 by citizens and associations against the sale of the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas by the Municipality of Milan to Inter and Milan.
The decision paves the way for the new facility project. Martina Riva, Councillor for Sport of the Municipality of Milan, commented on the outcome: “It is time to leave the controversies behind, also because the city’s new stadium must be ready for the 2032 European Championships, an event that Milan cannot miss and must approach with a modern, accessible, and sustainable facility.”
