San Siro, Inter and Milan are considering selling seats to season ticket holders

In the project accompanying the construction of the new facility in the San Siro area, set to be completed for the Euro 2032 tournament, Inter and Milan are considering a special solution for the seats of the current Meazza stadium. According to Tuttosport, the two clubs could sell or give the seats to season ticket holders from the last season before demolition.

The idea would allow several thousand fans to take home a piece of history: watching matches sitting on their own San Siro seat, but in their living room. The proposal is included in the documents for the new stadium project and appears in the Vas environmental report.

The estimate starts from the current 75,817 seats and foresees the recovery of 80% of them: about 60,654 seats, equivalent to 273 tons of plastic that would be saved from disposal. The operation would have a modest economic impact for the clubs, but would represent one of the most romantic steps in saying goodbye to the old facility.

The clubs could organize dedicated events to make this moment of transition to the new stadium even more meaningful.
