The Premier League dominates the European football scene with a total value of 14.1 billion euros, clearly outpacing all other leagues. According to data from Football Benchmark published by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish Liga stops at 6.6 billion, followed by Serie A with 6.3 billion. Further behind are the Bundesliga at 5.4 billion and Ligue 1 with 3.9 billion.
Spain, although worth less as a league, fields the most expensive players in the world. Lamine Yamal of Barcelona leads the ranking with 292 million euros, ahead of Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid at 230 million. The world top ten includes three others: Bellingham at 170 million, Vinicius at 146, and Pedri at 139. The Premier places three names (Haaland at 208, Saka at 135, and Wirtz at 125), while Germany and France have one each: Olise at 179 million and Doué at 125. Despite this, the combined value of the Italian and Spanish leagues remains 1.3 billion less than the Premier.
In Italy, Inter has the most valuable squad at 829 million euros, ahead of Juventus at 777. The other teams are further behind. Roma reaches 600 million thanks to the resources of the Friedkin family and the work of Gasperini in the first year. The fourth place of Como with 583 million is surprising, ahead of Milan (539 million), Atalanta (462), Napoli (449), and Fiorentina (309).
Among individual Serie A players, Kenan Yildiz is valued at 89 million and is just ahead of Lautaro Martinez, valued at 88 million. Completing the podium is Nico Paz of Como with 82 million. Inter places five players in the Italian top ten: in addition to Lautaro, there are Bastoni (66 million), Pio Esposito (65), Barella (59), and Marcus Thuram (58).
