Benjamin Pavard commented to Inter TV microphones on the victory achieved against Cagliari. The Nerazzurri defender emphasized the difficulty of the match in Sardinia and the desire to continue with positive results.
“It’s never easy to come to Cagliari, especially because of their fans. We struggled, but it’s important to win and bring home the victory,” said Pavard. The Nerazzurri defender then addressed the topic of tactical versatility, after being deployed also as a wing-back: “I am at the coach’s and the team’s disposal, for the good of the team I’ll play anywhere.”
The focus is already on the next match, another top-of-the-table clash. “We need to recover our energy, we’ll be back on the pitch during the week and we’ll prepare for the match with Napoli. We’ll do everything to win next Saturday. It’s a big match, but it will be at home and with our fans,” he concluded.
