During the Champions League away match against Bodo Glimt last Wednesday, Lautaro Martinez experienced muscle discomfort in his left calf. The Inter captain underwent clinical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano to assess the extent of the problem.

This is the official statement released by Inter on its website Inter.it.

“Lautaro Martinez underwent clinical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The tests revealed muscle strain in the soleus of the left leg. The situation of the Argentine striker will be re-evaluated next week.”.

The expected stop, according to Sky Sport, is about one month. Therefore, it is very difficult to imagine that Lautaro Martinez could be on the field for the derby against Milan scheduled for the weekend of next March 7-8.
