The supporters of Inter present at the Optus Stadium in Perth wanted to make their mark on the occasion of the Milan derby. Even far from San Siro, the Australian fans created two choreographies in opposite sections, helping to fill the stadium with the Nerazzurri colors.
In particular, the fans of the Beneamata displayed a banner dedicated to the triumphs achieved by Cristian Chivu‘s team last season. The design showed the Scudetto trophy and the Coppa Italia placed on either side of a snake, all above the words ‘FC Internazionale’.
The choreography was a tribute to the double won by Chivu‘s team, who managed to secure both trophies during the previous season. The initiative of the local fans helped to recreate the atmosphere of a big match, despite the distance from Italy and the Milanese stadium.
