Once the green light is given to acquire ownership of the San Siro stadium and all the surrounding areas, Inter and Milan will have to complete the operation as soon as possible. The deadline is in fact set for next November 10, when the restriction by the Superintendency on the stadium’s second tier would come into effect, 70 years after its construction.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport, however, “only the money is missing” that will have to finance the investment planned for the area, amounting to at least 1.2 billion euros. As highlighted by the same newspaper, this is not unusual, since for these amounts it is customary to have to “find external financing, perhaps overseas.”

Yesterday, for example, Il Sole 24 Ore mentioned some possible American giants ready to provide lines of credit. Above all, we are talking about some major banking institutions, with large American banks being favored to provide the lines of credit. Above all, giants such as Goldman Sachs, Jp Morgan, and Bofa Merrill Lynch. Even though “the Japanese Mitsubishi Ufj Financial Group would also be following the deal, while for now the Italian banks UniCredit and Intesa Sanpaolo would be out of the game, unlike Banco Bpm.”
