Confirming the bad feelings of the last few hours, this afternoon the results of the instrumental tests that Mkhitaryan underwent this morning have arrived. The Armenian midfielder was in fact forced to leave the field due to injury in the first half of Napoli-Inter because of severe discomfort in his left thigh.
As announced by Inter in an official statement, it is a muscle strain that will keep Mkhitaryan out for at least a month: “Henrikh Mkhitaryan underwent clinical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The tests revealed a muscle strain in the semitendinosus of the left thigh. His situation will be evaluated next week.”
