The official announcement has arrived from Lionel Messi and his entourage regarding the invitation from several clubs in Europe and beyond for what is the new project of the Argentine star. The former Barcelona superstar has in fact created a new spectacular tournament to which he has decided to send an official invitation also to Inter.
This is the “Messi Cup 2025”, the first edition of this new tournament conceived by the number 10, now playing for Inter Miami, which is aimed at the youth teams of many important and prestigious clubs from all over the world. As reported on the official tournament website, one of the Inter teams will also be present.
This special tournament will be held in Miami from December 9 to 14, 2025 and will see the participation of several Under 16 teams such as Inter, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, River Plate, Inter Miami, and Newell’s Old Boys. Messi has therefore chosen to also invite the Nerazzurri club and its young talents to his tournament.
