Kylian Mbappé aims to put behind him the missed penalty against Real Betis and is preparing to face Inter with a historic goal in mind. According to Opta, the French champion is just one goal away from reaching Raul in fifth place on the all-time top scorers list in the Champions League.
The Real Madrid striker has scored 70 goals in 98 appearances in the continental competition, 22 of which came in 25 matches with the Blancos. A goal against the Nerazzurri would allow him to equal the 71 goals of the Spanish legend.
Speaking to Sky, Mbappé talked about the upcoming challenge: “Inter is an opponent that deserves great respect. A quality team. When I saw the draw, my mind immediately went to Marcus Thuram since we are very good friends.”
