Third goal this Serie B season for Yanis Massolin, the attacking midfielder purchased by Inter in January and left on loan at Modena until the end of this season. The Frenchman, born in 2002, scored the temporary 1-0 goal in the match later lost (1-2) against Frosinone with a beautiful left-footed curler from just inside the penalty area, capitalizing on a counterattack after a set piece by the visiting team.
Massolin had last scored on February 14th against Carrarese with another left-footed shot from inside the penalty area. After a period of decline, his performances are improving again and in June he will join Inter. His future, however, is still to be decided: it remains to be seen whether he will be kept in the squad by Chivu or if, instead, he will be loaned out to other teams.
